Check In:

Registration/Start - is based on distance with the longer routes leaving first followed by the shorter routes.  Why? Rider safety!  We don't like to put 1000  cyclists on the road at one time.  The staggered start allows longer distance riders to clear the area that the shorter distance cyclists will eventually ride in.  This creates less confusion and wait time at registration and allows riders to proceed at their desired pace.

Helmets required!

Safety:

The League of American Bicyclists has tips for beginning and for more advanced riders - check out their ABC Quick Check
1. Be predictable. Obey all traffic laws, so that motor vehicles and other cyclists know what to expect.
2. Make sure to call out road hazards to cyclists behind you, always remember to warn them if you are slowing or stopping. Please do not bring headphones.
